As part of its continuing thought leadership program, RIMES takes an active interest in the evolution of data management operating models. Gartner, the world's leading information technology research and advisory company, also monitors emerging trends in the finance industry and in recent work has challenged three universal assumptions that form the bedrock of established data management best practices:

  • A single version of the truth is neither achievable nor desirable
  • A singular approach and absolute centralization of data management is not the answer
  • Data Management is not Data Governance

RIMES has hosted a number of round-tables across the globe with Gartner to allow them to present the background underpinning this radical view. Please join us to gain insight on these topics.
